SOURCE 2007

Get ready for a weekend away from campus at SOURCE 2007! It will be a great experience where you will be able to meet other students throughout South Dakota while spending time discovering more about yourself and God’s truths in scripture. SOURCE provides the training and encouragement for whatever part you may have in InterVarsity as well as preparing you for life outside of college. Besides the break, expect to have fun, make new friends, grow as a chapter, worship, be challenged, and relax.
SOURCE will be held at Camp Judson quietly hidden in the beautiful Black Hills of Keystone, South Dakota. Recreation opportunities include hiking trails, canoing, paddle boats, fishing, basketball, volleyball, and other sports. We will be minutes away from Mt. Rushmore and the Crazy Horse Memorial.

Lifeline

Lifeline is a Community-Based Team sponsored by Youth Encounter and working in and through First Lutheran Church in Brookings, SD. This group of young adults ministers in the Brookings area for one year with a faith-encouraging program of music, testimonies, drama and puppetry to inspire people of all ages! Small group leaders play a key role in our fellowships. We wouldn’t want you going into it ill-equipped. 2 Timothy 2:15 teaches that we should correctly handle the word of truth. We’ll engage your heart and challenge your mind. You’ll leave with some skills and tools, increased passion for your ministry, and a deeper love for Scripture.

Large Group is often the first impression and most visible part of a chapter. Creating the right environment for friendships, spiritual challenge, worship, and the gospel require prayer and preparation. In this track, we welcome large group coordinators and their teams to work through making Large Group engaging and something your chapter will want invite friends to.

Have you ever wanted to tell someone about how Jesus has changed your world, but you stumbled over how to do it? Or do you know you should tell someone about Christ, except you freak out every time you think about it? In this track, we’ll discover together how to be the bold, genuine people who speak about Christ in the same way that we live like Him. In the end, you’ll have the tools to be a confident and effective witness, to give your life so others may live.

See the whole sweeping saga of the Gospel of Mark and learn to read it with all your heart and all your mind. The tools we will use this weekend will help you to get the most out of any book of the Bible and to apply it to who you are. Come dive into the Gospel of Mark and allow it to change the way you look at Jesus, the Bible and your life.
